Key responsibilities:

- Leading API Procurement

o Day to Day commercial procurement activities, Bidding process, Contract finalization etc

o Supplier followup and ensuring timely delivery

o Working with Quality to align the supplier on Audit dates

- Procurement for Business Development

o Sample procurement for R&D – Developing new molecules

o Single point of contact for supplier communication

o Finding alternate source for challenges in API/Product

- M&P Drive

o Finding PPV and M&P Opportunities

o Work with cross-functional teams (R&D/Fin/Quality/Regulatory) to lead the project

o Provide data to Provalido

- Regulatory Compliance

o Partnering with RA to get the import quota on time

o Working with RA to understand the new DAV circulars on API and adjusting as per compliance

o Working with Quality and Regulatory to ensure paperwork from Supplier

- Finances

o Leading in setting the RM Standards in LBE3

o Active negotiation to try to keep the prices flat or reduction, wherever possible

o Sharing Risk & Opportunities with Finance related to RM Procurement

- Abbott Procurement Network

o Establish the connect with Global Direct Procurement and APAC Regional Procurement

o Working with Key Market (India and China) Procurement team to get the best deals

- Escalation of challenges with Network to support on challenging situation (Supply delay, Price Increase etc)
