1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible to support all staffs in Vietnam as required with effective Air pricing enabling existing and new business growth.

To reply both Local & Global RFQ for Air Freight in consultation with Air Freight Man- agement as directed.

To liaise with related functional Departments; sub-contractors and Airlines for full scope charges provided to the Customers and ensure the accuracy of the quotation.

2. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Providing pricing offers and solutions to all Global RFQs / Global Airfreight projects and response to PM Air; RHO; TM and KAM teams within deadline as re- quired.

· Providing pricing offers and solutions to all network Airfreight requests and RFQs.

· Supporting pricing offers and solutions to local Sales businesses

· Pricing tools:

- Provide up-to-date flight schedule, capacity, Air Freight rates and surcharges with all Air Carriers which are selling their services in local market for internal local company use

- RCM: upload and maintenance Air Freight rates into RCM periodically, ensuring Schenker overseas stations have access to best available buying rates from/to Vietnam. Support other staffs for installing and using RCM for checking Airfreight.

- Keep local charges including customs clearance tariff up-to-date and circulate in Hochiminh in consultant with Air Freight and Transportation Management

· Pricing quality: keep record of RFQ tracker, send follow-up to ask for results.

· Business development:

- Evaluate the potential of customers; tradelane; vertical markets; etc. when working then can introduce to Local or Global Sales team.

- Timely see the interruption of regular accounts and head up to Head of Airfreight or Sales team to find the reason and how can fix.

· Support to Air carrier negotiations & relations: assist to Air Management to gain best prices from local contacts in carriers.

· Market updates: keep aware of Air Freight market, support monthly Air Freight market reports

· Other tasks as required by Air Freight Management.

2. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

· Completed colleague/university degree

·Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience

·Trading terms/ Incoterms

·Cargo Introductory knowledge & initial IATA dangerous goods regulations

· International & local Geography

·Local Airfreight market including rate development; total capacity; carriers’ specifications of flight schedule, capacity, products, strong/key market
