  • Create and enhance long-term business relationships with customers to maximize business growth and opportunities
  • Manage the team to achieve division’s business objectives
  • Develop new business opportunities with customers
  • Monitor the team’s financial performance to achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain a strong local and regional vendor network to meet customers’ current and future business needs
  • Responsible for managing the performance of vendors, order management, production tracking till delivery and contract provision for suppliers
  • Identify areas for improvements, new sourcing opportunities and establish procedures to deliver tangible cost savings and speed
  • Bring in innovated ideas to re-engineer the work flow and product development process. Introduce new market software, working systems and methodology to constantly improve business competiveness and maintain it in the leading position with updated technology and mindset
  • Set up new end-to-end supply chains, continually monitor and develop suppliers from raw material sourcing, costing negotiations, capacity planning to production management
  • Lead the business and teams with vision, transparency and good planning. Drive business to win in the very fast changing and competitive market environment
  • Extensive knowledge and strong experience of working with local (Vietnam) vendor base/ sourcing as well as other key regions
  • Excellent business development, client development and relationship building with service mindset
  • Good at short product life cycle management and have knowledge management sense
  • Manage P&L and contribute in revenue generation
  • Apply efficient working system to record and organize product engineering changes
  • Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, making necessary adjustments
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Exigences de l’emploi

  • Diploma or Degree inClothing, Textile Merchandising or related discipline preferred
  • Experience both in FOB and TAP business models.
  • Must have experience in working with local (Vietnam) factories at least 5 years, familiar with Vietnamese culture.
  • Minimum 15years relevant experience with at least 5 years in similar position
  • Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
  • Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self- motivated, responsive and detail minded
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
  • Strong problem solving skills. Able to manage multiple tasks environment
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. For expats, Vietnamese speaking is a plus.
  • Literate in Microsoft office programs
  • Frequent travel is required
