PRODUCTION COST CONTROLLER

YUJIN VINA Co., Ltd specializes in manufacturing cutlery such as spoons, forks, and knives for European and American brands and handbag metal accessories for luxury brands. The company has been in operation for more than 20 years with three factories in Thu Duc and one new factory in Long An focusing on automation. ***YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Key tasks: Production costing on ERP, Costing Control System, Inventory inspection.

Scope: Yujin Group (Yujin Vina – TD, and Yujin Kreves – LA)

1.Product costing on ERP (~ 40%)

• Set up standard cost for purchased materials & produced products
• Closely monitor standard & actual purchased & production costs and timely track & analyze deviation of standard cost, be able to explain deviation, impact to the business.
• Fully understand BOM calculation, be able to detect error and fix before activating the costs.
• Ensure production orders are timely updated and closed.
• Coordinate with related departments (especially ERP department) to deploy and operate production costing on the ERP system
• Others ad hoc reporting and analysis from Management.

2.Costing control system (~ 40%)

• Design internal procedure to control the import and export of raw materials, supplies, tools, fixed assets and goods at the assigned factory
• Identify cost issues (e.g. yield loss, gap between BOM and Actual, high sundry cost, etc.) and coordinate with Production, BOM Controllers for proper action to improve level of control on costing management.
• Prepare and analysis monthly contribution margin report per product unit and consolidation of Thu Duc and Long An legal entity.
• Prepare monthly production deviation and sundry report, recognize area of concerns for prober attention and verification.
• Follow up, timely and precisely calculate monthly savings impact on financial statements, provide the early identification of problem areas (if any).
• Participate in 3_month planning and 3_year planning and take an important part in coordinating and verifying targets of other departments (material prices- purchasing/sourcing, yield- QA, productivity-Production, etc.)
• Coordinating with the Head of Department in organizing the formulation and documentation of processes and work instructions related to production statistics and accounting.
• Take part in savings/Kaizen/lean projects and help verify savings
• Others ad hoc reporting relating to production costing.

3.Leading inventory inspection course (~ 20%)

• Together with warehouse and production team to conduct periodical inventory inspection, including raw materials, sub-materials, tools, WIP, and finish good at all company warehouses.
• Provide detail explanation for any deviation between reported number (ERP or accounting) vs. inspected inventory number
• Propose solid solutions and timeline for corrective actions.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
