We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable individual to join our organization as a Coordinator for Curriculum & Instruction K-12. The Coordinator for Curriculum & Instruction K-12 will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the curriculum and instructional programs for kindergarten through 12th grade. This position requires a strong understanding of educational principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders.

Curriculum Development and Evaluation:

  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and review curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards and goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of the curriculum to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated on current educational trends and research to inform curriculum development and instructional strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing the curriculum effectively.

Instructional Support:

  • Collaborate with teachers to design instructional units and lesson plans that incorporate best practices and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their instructional skills and knowledge.
  • Support teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies, incorporating technology, and promoting student engagement.
  • Monitor and assess instructional practices to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Assessment and Data Analysis:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of assessments to measure student learning outcomes.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement in student achievement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and improve student performance.
  • Support the implementation of data-driven instructional practices and strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure coherence and alignment across grade levels and subjects.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and professional learning communities to promote collaboration and share best practices.
  • Communicate curriculum updates, changes, and expectations to teachers and other relevant staff members.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes professional growth and collaboration among teachers.

Yêu cầu công việc

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. Masters degree is preferred.

Previous experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, or a related role in an educational setting.

Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles, educational standards, and assessment practices.

Familiarity with K-12 education and the specific needs and developmental stages of students.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive instructional decision-making.

Proficiency in educational technology and its integration into instruction.

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
