Position:(Manager) Actuary Specialist - Underwriting Division

Job Code:99039

Responsibility

- Actuarial reserving report to make recommendations on the sufficiency of reserves for insurance liability, in compliance with local regulatory authority

- Reliable up-to-date general insurance technical reserves

- Common framework for portfolio analysis and underwriting

- Technical pricing recommendations

- Financial condition report

- Solvency report

- Other office works as assigned by the Company

- Working location: Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi

- Monthly Salary: 30,000,000～40,000,000VND

Stellenanforderung

Requirements


・Education:
- University Graduation, preferred with major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (or good background in Mathematics for candidates with Economics qualification).
- A fellow of the Society of Actuaries/Casualty Actuarial Society/Institute of Actuaries/Institute of Actuaries of Australia/Canadian Institute of Actuaries or a student who has passed at least two exams of one of the above actuarial institutes, in this case, the student should ideally be one to two years away from qualification.
・Language: English at Business level
・Gender: Any
・Age: no limit
・Experience: At least 2 -3 years of working experience in a general insurance actuarial practice.


- Broad general insurance business knowledge
- Knowledge and experience in general insurance actuarial practice especially in areas of reserving, premium rating and solvency.
- Good understanding of data, actuarial software and programming skills.


Preferably with experience in a consultancy firm or/and general insurance company


Reside in Vietnam during the term of employment.
