Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team at Diag, one of the leading medical laboratories in Vietnam, as the Head of Legal and Compliance. As the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all legal and compliance matters within the organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Diag operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive legal and compliance program to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Provide legal advice and guidance to the management team and other departments on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

- Monitor and stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the healthcare and medical laboratory industry, and proactively address any potential legal risks or issues.

- Review, draft, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.

- Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

- Develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance matters to employees, ensuring understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring effective management of legal matters and representation of the organizations interests.

- Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Oversee investigations into any potential legal or compliance violations, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and necessary reporting is conducted.

- Manage and supervise a team of legal and compliance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of legal and compliance initiatives.

Stellenanforderung

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Law or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within the healthcare/hospital ormedical laboratory industry.

- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the healthcare industry in Vietnam.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing legal and compliance programs.

- Excellent understanding of corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and provide effective solutions.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal matters to non-legal professionals.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong leadership and management skills.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

- Fluency in both English and Vietnamese is required.
