Job description

Hum Vietnam, a 100% local brand comprising multiple F&B ventures, boutique event spaces and retail stores is looking for aBusiness Development Managerwho is responsible for driving growth, expanding our ecosystem, and enhancing the brands presence.
You will be instrumental in establishing relationships with key partners, guests, and stakeholders to ensure the continued success of our brands, focusing on both brand reputation and guest experience.

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Strategic Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to accelerate business goals and revenue objectives within our diverse ecosystem.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective annual strategies and promotional campaigns across the brands of the ecosystem.
  • Innovative Marketing: Generate unique, boutique marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Guest Engagement: Implement robust and creative strategies for acquiring new guests, expanding our guest database, and enhancing guest relationships, leveraging tools like email marketing, guest relationship management platforms, guest service centers, and relevant workshops/events.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Operation teams to plan, anticipate, and execute events, collaborations, and new item/products.
  • Community Building: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with guests, local media outlets, and the Food & Beverage community to anticipate food workshops and events. Represent the restaurant at local events and engage in community outreach within the Ho-re-ca sector.
  • Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with like-minded businesses and organizations to enhance our brand presence.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests, emphasizing quality and service excellence.

Job requirement

WHAT YOU NEED TO PERFORM THE ROLE:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years of proven success in business development, sales, or related roles within the hospitality industry; or
  • Alternatively, 3 - 4 years of experience in client services within an advertising agency involving event organization and business consulting.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, cuisine culture, catering and events.

Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and strong people management skills.

Desired Experience: A genuine passion for Vietnamese cuisines and culture is a valuable asset.

Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to drive business growth.

Solution-Oriented: Possess a solution-driven mentality and demonstrate operational/business foresight.

Operational Acumen: High operational IQ, including familiarity with the industry’s standards and procedures.

Innovative Mindset:Proactive with an innovative mindset for better business practices, identifying growth opportunities, and executing operational improvements.

Problem Solver: The ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and overcome obstacles is critical in a rapidly evolving industry.

Ethical and Responsible: Upholding high ethical standards and being responsible for business practices and guest satisfaction is non-negotiable.
