Job description

Job Purpose

The job holder perform credit appraisal for BB customer segment

Key Accountabilities (1)

1. Function 1

- Actively coordinate with internal / external units or cooperate with business units to collect information and analyze the local micro market, customer information to understand the characteristics and needs of customers. , market, competitive banking products, etc. of the segment/sub-segment/industry assigned to manage and understand customers under the management portfolio

- Remember and understand Techcombanks credit policies and can flexibly apply them to each specific credit profile.

- Appraise, evaluate and give opinions/suggestions related to risk component in pricing policy based on financial plan with customers (ACP)/risk (RORWA)/customers lifetime value (CLV) according to regulations.

- Participate in direct appraisal of customers in the same unit (for documents satisfying the prescribed criteria) or as assigned by leaders

- Control customer credit scoring according to Techcombanks processes, regulations and guidelines

- Perform:

+ Customer-savvy analytics,

+ Appraisal and analysis of business operations, finance, risk assessment, credit needs of customers

+ For customers who have had credit transactions: Check and review the implementation of the requirements of the approval level for previous loans, promptly detect violations and signs affecting the level of credit transactions. safety of the loan

+ Detect and evaluate risks that may arise during operation at the business unit, propose appropriate management measures to overcome/reduce risks for Techcombank.

- Advise business units in making financial assumptions, cash flows, assessing risks/opportunities in the clients business plans/business models

- Advise the unit on appropriate financial solutions and credit structure based on customer understanding, industry developments and TCBs regulations

- Prepare appraisal report according to regulations and classify Techcombanks credit records from time to time.

- Attend credit committee meetings for the credit extension assigned to be appraised and give opinions/reports on appraisal contents at the request of the approval authority.

- Coordinate with the credit committee secretary and the business unit to finalize the minutes of the credit approval meeting (Perform the functions and duties required by the Credit Councils in accordance with Techcombanks regulations from time to time). .)

Key Accountabilities (2)

2. Function 2

- Instruct branches to strictly comply with regulations related to credit granting to corporate customers (within the scope of the Corporations work).

- Record problems, difficulties, and irrationalities in the process of implementing programs/SPs/policies to propose/suggest to improve processes/products to the focal points in charge.

- Manage/follow the assigned customer portfolio/file (credit structure, EL, debt quality,...);

- Continuously update and monitor industry information and market developments to ensure adequate information and timely solutions to respond to changes / fluctuations in the assigned customer portfolio

- Coordinate with relevant departments (Credit Warning and Review, CCA, ...) to update the status of credit approval at the business unit, identify warning signs soon with customers in the industry/field in charge

- Record feedbacks from units about problems, difficulties, and unreasonableness during working with the department to promptly offer solutions to ensure smooth operation

- Guide/coach/support in training the appraisal staff in the group to learn the system, perform professional operations according to common work requirements/or as assigned by leaders at all levels

- Participate in training and consulting for customer relations units in the system in customer appraisal as assigned by leaders

3. Other responsibilities:

- Perform work in accordance with policies, regulations, processes, guidelines, ... and commitment to service quality (SLAs).

- Actively identify and manage operational risks at work

- Strictly comply with the Banks Labor Regulations

- Perform other related tasks at the request of direct managers and upper management.

- Participate in Techcombanks projects as directed.

Job requirement

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

- Degree/Professional: University graduate or above majoring in economics/finance/banking.

- Minimum 3 years experience in credit appraisal, credit analysis, credit control

- Minimum TOEIC 550 or equivalent
