JOB PURPOSE

  • The 5S and Process Improvement Officer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the 5S methodology and leading process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, efficiency, and quality of operations within the organization. The role involves coordinating with various departments to identify areas of improvement, designing and implementing solutions, and monitoring the progress and success of initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and maintain the 5S methodology throughout the organization.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and create action plans to address them.
  • Conduct process analysis and design, develop and implement process improvements, ensuring that they are effective and efficient.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional process improvement efforts are successful.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure support and buy-in for process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate progress and results of process improvement initiatives to senior management.

Requerimiento de trabajo

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing 5S methodology and process improvement initiatives.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using process improvement tools and techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
