OVER-ALL RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Assume the over-all responsibility to manage and control activities of the entire department geared towards achieving company’s goals and objectives.

· Provide top management the most reliable and accurate product costings.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure the correctness of product costings and quotations as provided by the costing staff before sending to top management or requestor.

2. Ensure product costing information is prepared promptly and timely.

3. Coordinate with all suppliers or factories to resolving issues related to product costings and pricing.

4. Negotiate directly with suppliers or factories to achieve a more competitive quotations and prices as deemed necessary.

5. Prepare comparative costings to top management for their decision making as the need arise.

6. Guide, train and help subordinates to achieve the most accurate and reliable costings.

7. Formulate and establish policies to ensure a smooth flow of costing process and improve efficiency.

8. Ensure proper implementation of established policies to guarantee consistency and good quality of output.

9. Maintain an up to date costings of all products in conformity with the company’s policy of updating costs.

10. Prepare periodic reports for comparing Standard costs against Actual costs.

11. Give reports to top management about changes of prices of raw materials, components and services which would affect the costing of GI products.

12. Guarantee confidentiality of all product costings and other related costs and pricing information.

13. Make sure that discipline is maintained among subordinates through proper implementation of company house rules.

14. Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with company goals and objectives.

15. Do other tasks as directed by top management or immediate superior.

Requerimiento de trabajo

§ A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy , Industrial Engineering or Management Engineering or any other related course.

§ Must have at least 5 year experience as Product Costing Manager in a furniture company.

§ Knowledge in ERP system is an advantage- but not a must

§ Must know how to read and interpret full size drawings and Bill of Materials

§ With good management and analytical skills

§ Can work under pressure and have a high sense of responsibility

§ Proficient in English both oral and written

§ Computer Literate- Microsoft office

§ At least 35 years old

§ Male or Female
