Descripción del trabajo

  • Automation Project Management:

o Attend improvement meetings, work with the Operations Team to develop action plans for new automatic, semi automatic equipment, and scheduling needs
o Coordinate development plan and follow up actions, including but not limited to Conceptualization, Simulation or Prototyping
o Create collaborative project communication channels with Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Supervision, and floor operators.
o Develop and maintain Gantt Charts, Project Schedule, Risk Assessment, and Contingency Plans
o Develop agendas to facilitate and document project meetings
o Deliver formal presentations to leadership regarding project status

o Manage suppliers of capital equipment for turn-key applications / custom equipment. Manage cost, timing and budget of each project

  • Factory Automation and Technology Development

o Have ability to conduct research, development, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies, Robotics, or IoT platforms and capital equipment to improve current throughput, scrap/rework reduction, reduce cost, improve quality, reliability and visuality.
o Have ability to build simulation, real prototypes to confirm feasibility as well as fabrication time/cost estimates and test proposed fabrication processes
o Commit to major strategic cost, quality and delivery initiatives with aggressive focus on breakthrough process and technology improvements to achieve a substantial competitive advantage
o Conduct equipment certification and run-off, using statistical analysis tools to verify equipment, capability
o Have capability to use CAD to design automatic equipment, integration system (to Automatic Hardware and Mechanical Design - Mechatronic Engineering)
o And/ or have capability to use PLC, computer-based and cellphone-based language to program automatic equipment, integration system (to Automatic Software and Electrics Design - Mechatronic Engineering).
o Assist with Continuous Improvement Projects in: Kaizen Activities, Visual Management, OEE, etc
o Engage in automation and innovation course through technology co-research and development as well as engineering co-test and deployment

  • Automation Design Analysis and Continuous Improvement

o Perform a wide variety of calculations and software aided analysis
o Possess a systematic as well as creative approach to problem solving process
o Provide multiple what-if scenarios to find best total cost solution
o Exhibit vision and foresight to test process extremes and build a robust risk assessment
analysis matrix to ensure project success
o Understand well financial impacts of problem and solution

Requerimiento de trabajo

  • Bachelors degree in Automation Control Engineering or IndustrialAutomation Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering with equivalent years ofdirectly related experience
  • Minimum three years related experience in design and fabrication ofAutomatic, Semi automatic Equipment, Automatic Integration System (mostpreferable) or an equivalent industrial environment
  • Minimum one-year project management experience
  • Specialty skills in Robotics, Factory Automation, Automation Control, andMechatronic Engineering (most preferable) or Hardware and Mechanicaldesign or Software and Electrical Design or IoT and Digitalization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite -- Including MS Project
  • CAD Proficient with equipment, mechanism design ability
  • And/or Programming Proficiency for Robotics, Automation System, IoT,Factory Automation
  • From intermediate English skills in both written and verbalcommunication
