This position is required work in 12 hrs shifts. The Assistant Planning reports to the Planning Manager and is assigned the following key tasks:

1. Assume responsibility for the entire Cargo Control Process and statistical data for the Planning team.

2. Ensure that operating and reporting systems are updated with error-free information for every vessel.

3. Maintain control of the "To Come List" regarding pre-approved late arrivals and exceptions.

4. Receive EDI and COPRAR files to process information related to container and other operational data.

5. Update information on the ECUS system to the Customs system.

6. Follow up with the cargo control clerks on the progress of load lists. Ensure that the load lists are finalized in time prior to the vessel ETA. Clarify issues with the shipping lines to mitigate disputes.

7. Interact closely with the vessel planners and shipping lines regarding additional changes after set cut-off time has passed.

8. Ensure consistency of treatment among shipping clients regarding cargo delivery deadlines and cargo prioritization.

9. Investigate and document service failures and report them to the appropriate parties.

10. Respond to inquiries related to Terminal Departure Reports for vessels no longer at berth.

11. Measure and report the performance versus standards for the terminal and the shipping line regarding compliance with the terms of the service agreement.

12. Monitor vessel schedules on daily basis.

13. Ensure timely delivery of reports to the shipping line (TDR, ROROC...) per vessel call.

14. Collect information from the internal and external sides to statistics weekly, monthly.

Requerimiento de trabajo

-Bachelors degree in logistics, transportation, foreign trade, business administration, or a related field preferred

- Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ECUS5VNACCS

- 1 years of experience in planning, cargo handling, logistics, or a related field.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

- Knowledge of terminal operating systems (TOS) and other logistics software is preferred.

- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to cargo handling operations.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Can use in English both verbally and written

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
