Project Management
• Designs optimal plant layouts and material flows
• Delivers projects on time and within budget, meeting agreed-upon criteria
• Uses a systematic approach to track, communicate, and manage the cost and schedule of projects
• Drives standardization in site, layout and equipment design
• Uses proven chemical, electrical and mechanical engineering principles when designing and implementing processes/projects
• Uses simulation and Computer Aided Design (CAD) packages to develop line, piping and equipment design
• Adheres to utility requirements, constraints, and compliance with local construction regulations
• Engages stakeholders in design decisions to ensure projects satisfy quality, cost, service and safety criteria
• Ensures that sites, Systems and equipment comply with Company standard & Local requirement
• Manages third party contractors and design firms effectively

Continuous Improvement
• Exploits data and information to identify and measure potential improvements
• Conducts Continuous Improvement Reviews to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement
• Facilitates sharing of ideas, knowledge, and best practices to improve processes, project and solve problems
• Works to standardize best practices

Bid Process
• Develops the technical scope using associated drawings and technical specifications to prepare a bid package for potential vendors. Utilizes the results and executes the selection process for specific projects.

Installation
• Oversees site preparation, installation of equipment, control systems, and associated utilities (water, electrical, HVAC, steam, air etc) with contractors or internal personnel


Technology Transfer
• Transfers skills/knowledge through effective communication including Operator manuals, electronic bundle books, and process control maps. Oversees the startup and training of key personnel for new projects. Performs follow up and take corrective actions.

Requerimiento de trabajo

Education BS Degree in Engineering or related field; A Project Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

to five years experience in project management/engineering. Project scope will increase with experience
Familiarity with Utility systems (especially WWTP, Boiler, Compressed air are a plus)
