Description de l’emploi

1. Assist German patients during their visit at FV (OPD and IPD)

- Welcome and guide new German patient

- Help them to fill in the registration form

- Guide them to use the patient card and advice them to book appointment before coming

- Reconfirm the appointment for them

- Assist German patient during their visit at FVH

- Support FVH information for Russian patients

- Escort patient to go to the right department for consultation

- Escort patient for doing the test prescribed by doctor

- Escort patient for buying the medicine if any

2. Translation/ interpretation

- Translate between doctor and patients and vice versa

- Translate what patients said about her/ his disease

- Translate all information about the diagnosis/ treatment given by doctor

- Interpreter all information (Admission procedure, insurance, pre-op, discharge, re-consultation, medication…) provided by FVH staffs to German patients

- Translate all notice or information when required

3. Phone duty

- Responsible for handling a duty phone

- Responsible for interpreting between FVH staffs and German patients when needed (especially during the nights and the weekends)

Exigences de l’emploi

1.Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in German

2.Experience: At least 3 years experience in a similar position, priority in medical interpreter-related jobs.

3.Skills and knowledge:

-Strong network with internal and external organizations

-Worked successfully with a diverse group of people

-Mastery of organizational skills

-Have a sense of Customer Service

-Ability to work under pressure and in an environment of a multi-national culture

-Mastery of effective communication skills to impact and influence people

4.Foreign language(s):

-Fluent in German (4 skills)

-Knowing English or French is an advantage
