Description de l’emploi

Duties: Leading a translational research project on cell-based therapy

Tasks:

  • The overall focus of the project is to develop a workflow for generating genetically modified immune cells for the treatment of solid tumors.
  • Support and train other members of the research team when needed.
  • Perform other duties related to the function requested by the Board of Directors or the research team leader.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

The candidate will supervise a research technician or research associate.

KEY INTERFACES:

This position requires you to interact with both senior and junior researchers in the RD team, and clinicians at multiple hospitals.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

RD laboratory with cutting-edge technology

Exigences de l’emploi

Competencies Required

  • Have experience in the field of cell biology or immunology with a strong track record.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effectively design and execute laboratory experiments, critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in the preparation research publications, and attend/present at national conference
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

REQUIRED:

  • A Ph.D. degree or PhD (submitted, awaiting defence) in immunology or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least one first author paper

PREFERRED:

A candidate with iPSCs, Virology, and/or CRISPR/Immunology research background is preferred
