Descrizione del lavoro

  • Define business requirements for WMS software upgrades deployment and system configuration.
  • Recommend, and manage system changes including new concepts, system improvements changes with the software supplier
  • Create training documents and resources for the system, conduct training for end users
  • Collaborate with IT and customers to develop testing scenarios, conduct system tests, identify discrepancies, troubleshoot solutions
  • Work with Inventory Management on WMS configuration and stock reconciliations
  • Document and enforce Standard Operating Procedures; keep work instructions and related documentation updated and available for end user
  • Communicate daily with the warehouse team on daily basis, analyze problems related to the operation, find out the causes, and take measures.
  • Evaluate changes in operation, propose improvement options: including the WMS system, and operate.
  • Elicit requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis
  • Work with other team members and departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements
  • Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance
  • To ensure the operation impact and project objectives/ dependencies are identified, reported on, and managed at all times
  • To set up a program, deliver coaching and run projects pan jurisdiction
  • To complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects

Requisiti di lavoro

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent engineering combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of experience in logistics systems
  • At least (1) year of experience in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environment
  • Recent experience with one or more WMS, preferably SAP, High Jump, CORE
  • Experience as a super user in operating WMS, order management applications, and database systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VISO a plus but not required)
  • Understanding of WMS, order management applications, and database systems
  • Strong ability to interpret customer specifications into operational process flows, utilize WMS functionality to resolve business operational problems, and articulate WMS functionality to others
