Purpose and role:

Responsible for organizing, and promoting the implementation of data governance activities on banks data warehouse; Effectively implement Data and Analytics Committee requirements; Monitor and continuously improve data quality of the centralized data warehouse, contributing to the business analysis efficiency of the Business Intelligence center

Responsibilities:

1. Regarding activities related to the Data & Analytic Committee:
- Directly participate in organizing and acting as secretary of Data & Analytic Committee meetings, reporting to the Data & Analytic Committee on the implementation of Data Governance activities as well as proposing corresponding support
- Organize the implementation of activities and report progress as required by the Data & Analytic Committee.
2. Regarding reporting systems, data profiling, data quality scoring
- Responsible for organizing and deploying the development of data profiling and data quality scoring tools
- Responsible for building/organizing the construction of a reporting system on data governance, data quality, profiling, and arising data issues
3. Responsible for maintaining, improving and enhancing the effectiveness of the Data Steward model in bankwide data governance activities
4. Responsible for being the focal point for receiving and resolving data quality issues in the banks data warehouse (old data warehouse - S16 and new data warehouse - DWH)
5. Regarding data quality of centralized data warehouse:
- Organize the deployment of tools to monitor data quality of the banks centralized data warehouse
- Responsible for consulting/assigning qualified staff on quality advising for VPBanks business/support units
- Responsible for proposing/assigning qualified staff to propose initiatives and solutions to improve and enhance data quality and prevent arising data errors from source systems
6. Terminology/Glossary management:
- Research/deploy research on appropriate tools to manage terminology/glossary
- Deploy/organize business terminology/glososary management, including: creating, changing information related to terminology, managing data lineage for each term

Requisiti di lavoro

- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the banking industry, of which at least 3 years working in data governance or data management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manager role, and implementing tools to support Data Governance
- Common degrees and majors: bachelor of economics, finance & banking, information technology, applied mathematics, etc.)

- Advanced knowledge of bank products and services
- Knowledge of databases, organization, and data analysis
- Creative problem solving skills, planning skills, execution management skills: Advanced
- Effective communication, presentation, and guidance competencies and skills: Advanced
- Team management skills, promoting and motivating employees: Advanced
