Our vision is to transform VPB into a data led organization by providing the data platform and data products to provide ability to consistent ly analyze, report and query information to make timely decisions using standardized Enterprise Data & Analytics applications capabilities; enable data and analytics driven culture at VPB through stable and flexible architecture that supports sourcing of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data & tools; meet future regulatory, strategic and operational data management requirements by enhancing the current data management capabilities not just at the enterprise level, but across our ecosystem.

The position purpose is to deliver trusted ecosystem data and leverage AI/ML techniques in generating insights and applications for driving business growth, customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Key accountabilities:

  • Develop KPI and see through its completion and enhance operational efficiency of Integrated AI department
  • Work directly with the Head, Ecosystem center and Head AI center to give direction for managing and delivering AI/ML Product & service across VPBank ecosystem
  • Lead the design and integration of predictive and prescriptive insights across the respective ecosystem subsidiaries, leveraging data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Package models, engineer applications, APIs as well as develop integrated visualizations for delivering project based advanced analytical solutions to ecosystem subsidiaries.
  • Partner ecosystem subsidiaries in the development of their respective AI strategies with the shared goal of achieving sustained customer impact.
  • Propose optimization measures and enhancement to BI operating model across VPBank ecosystem
  • Develop and train cross domain data professionals

    • Requisiti di lavoro

    • Bachelor or higher degrees in math, information technology, business management, finance and banking
    • Min 8 years of solid experience in data science, machine learning or big data engineering.
    • Min 3 years of experience in a management position
    • Experience in building a new team from scratch is a plus
    • Experience in interpreting data and translate them into actionable insights, not just data extraction and reporting
    • Understanding and experience using analytical concept and statistical techniques, hypothesis development, analyzing complex data set and drawing conclusions
    • Knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine learning approaches, clustering and classification techniques
    • Experience in working with SQL and Excel
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language R/Python
    • Proficiency in big data technologies, distributed computing, software and visualization development
    • Knowledge of finance and banking business (Presales & sales, Product, Customer, Risk & Collection); AI & ML applications; Data management, data analytics, big data analytics, data securities
    • Advanced in SQL Server & Excel
    • Advanced in using R or Python for data analysis
    • Advanced knowledge in big data and machine learning tech stack including Hadoop and Spark.
