POSITION SUMMARY

Maintenance instrumentation, control systems, equipment, and assist in ongoing testing and inspection across the plant systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation. Based on gained experience, O&M manuals and procedures will be able to understand failure symptoms and calibrate, repair or replace accordingly. Support other maintenance groups as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform maintenance duties in a safe, environmentally friendly and workmanlike manner.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control components ensuring regular calibration of the different I&C (boiler) components, PLC programing, assisting in the maintenance of DCS, CEMS and other related systems.
  • Supprot to prepare, maintain and update documentation, reports and CMMS as required.
  • Perform other comparable and related duties as assigned.

Requisiti di lavoro

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 – 3 years vocational / technical school diploma or equivalent level of experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in plant maintenance or equivalent industrial environment including I&C(boiler) equipment exposure and maintenance work planning.
  • Available to work overtime, weekends and shift work if necessary.
  • Interpret DCS logic drawing, P&I drawing, PLC ladder drawing and Electrical single line drawing
  • Familiar with P&ID drawing, Calibration and periodic maintenance for local instruments and commonly used monitoring system such as Furnace monitoring system, Vibration analysis, transmitters.
  • Ability to use instrument equipment such as Calibrator, Tester, Oscilloscope, Recorder.
  • Prefer a certificate of completion related to DCS, TCS, PLC Systems, Computer application system.
  • Prefer a certificate of completion on the training course related to O&M for super critical coal power plant.
  • Prefer a certificate of completion for training courses on Process Control such as PID tuning, the basic principle of instrument sensors and the basic measuring theory of local instruments.
  • Upper beginner-level communication skills in the English language (written and verbal). Able to response using basic grammar & vocabularies.
