POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Corporate Communications Specialist at Gene Solutions, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging written content for various corporate materials, including but not limited to websites, marketing collateral, press releases, scientific publications, and internal communications. Your ability to transform complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and impactful narratives will be essential in promoting our brand and maintaining our commitment to scientific excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our companys mission and values. Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels and touchpoints. 

  • Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling content for various corporate materials such as websites, brochures, whitepapers, press releases, and scientific publications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, marketers, and designers, to ensure alignment between content and design.

  • Create and maintain the companys tone of voice and style guidelines to maintain brand consistency.

  • Write and edit content for internal communications, including newsletters, memos, and reports.

  • Stay up to date with scientific advancements in genetics and related fields to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new content ideas and campaigns.

  • Proofread and edited content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to extract technical information and translate it into laymans terms.

仕事の要件

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Genetics, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a copywriter in a corporate or agency setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of written materials.

  • Strong understanding of genetics and related scientific topics. Previous experience in the genetics or biotechnology industry is a plus.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing.

  • Experience in developing content for various digital platforms and social media.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.

  • Adept at meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
