NPI Mechanical Manager (AME Manager)

• Console/ Packing Assembly NPD Project Management:
o Drive, promote NPD meetings, co-lead with the Operations Team to develop and maintain manufacturing action plans for new tooling, equipment, and production scheduling needs
o Drive NPD builds with follow-up actions, including but not limited to Engineering Builds, Qualification Builds, and Pilot builds
o Empower collaborative project communication channels with NPD, Engineering,
Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, Quality, Supervision, and floor operators
o Ensure proper development of Gantt Charts, Project Schedule, Risk Assessment, and Contingency Plans
o Ensure proper agendas to facilitate and document project meetings
o Ensure proper delivery of formal presentations to leadership regarding project status
o Ensure proper management of suppliers of capital equipment for turn-key applications / custom equipment. Ensure proper management of cost, timing and budget of each project
• Manufacturing Engineering Development
o Lead research, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and capital equipment to improve current throughput, scrap/rework reduction, reduce cost, improve quality and improve reliability
o Lead prototypes to confirm manufacturing time/cost estimates and test proposed manufacturing processes
o Drive major strategic cost, quality and delivery initiatives with aggressive focus on breakthrough process and technology improvements to achieve a substantial competitive advantage
o Ensure proper management of equipment certification and run-off, using statistical analysis tools to verify process rate, capability and Gage R&R
o Ensure proper implementation of with GD&T, Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, and Control Plans
o Ensure proper development of tooling, fixtures, and gages design
o Drive Continuous Improvement Projects in: Kaizen Activities, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, OEE, Work Instructions, Time Studies, Line Balancing, etc…
o Lead automation and innovation course through technology co-research and development as well as engineering co-test and deployment
• Process Design Analysis and Continuous Improvement
o Ensure proper performance of a wide variety of calculations and software aided analysis
o Empower a systematic as well as creative approach to problem solving process
o Empower multiple what-if scenarios to find best total cost solution
o Empower vision and foresight to test process extremes and build a robust risk assessment analysis matrix to ensure project success
o Drive well financial impacts of problem and solution
• Team leading and people development
o Develop AME engineer capabilities through identifying strengths, gaps and expectation as well as continually devoting in individual development, mentorship
o Nurture and empower leadership culture with appreciation of Milwaukee core values
o Drive the team’s performance to committed KPIs and key objectives
o Engage in operational management and strategic activities, align personnel and team’s organizational chart planning to the company’s target picture.

This position will be based in Binh Duong & will be re-located to new factory in SHTP, District 9, HCMC in 2024. Shuttle bus is available.
