Job description

Main Purpose:

  • The Marketing Manager role is responsible for ensuring the business marketing and brand health both domestically and internationally, through both the Company owned and franchised networks.

Key Accountabilities:

Brand & Marketing Management

  • Develop brand strategies that deliver the desired brand positioning in the market, track brand health
  • Create yearly Marketing plan (key activities, budget, headcount,…) for Marketing Department (Brand Communication, Product Management, Local Store Marketing, Merchandising and International market)
  • Ensure marketing strategies are developed and executed that deliver a strong customer value proposition, with the correct promotional message, channels and weight
  • Maintain editorial control on all marketing and public relations collateral that is released on behalf of the company
  • Develop a measuring system for determining the success of each marketing program, manage the quality and effectiveness of campaigns
  • Facilitate strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with key colleagues including Business Unit Heads, and cross Functional leaders

Product & Price Management

  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide competitive analyses, forecasts the consumer/ market trend, then translate the results into actionable insights, influence present and future products
  • Develop the menu architecture and manage the overall product development process
  • Ensure products are being sold at price points that deliver an optimal mix of traffic and profitability, according to the menu architecture

Financial control

  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
  • Drive revenue via ADTC and flagship sales

International/ Franchising

  • With other senior executives, identify new business opportunities
  • Deliver the brand to international markets via international franchising partners

Team development

  • Provide leadership to develop a capable and professional team
  • Provide coaching, motivation, educational, and experiential growth opportunities to ensure the engagement of a high-performance team.

Job requirement

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a similar field is required. A masters degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing, communications or public relations
  • 3+ years’ experience in a management role
  • Industry knowledge – Food Service, QSR, Casual Dining, Consumer Retail, and/or Hospitality Industries
  • Proven track records of success in senior marketing roles and in creating marketing campaigns
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing Experience in franchisee management having knowledge of new product development, performance management, budgeting & Financial concepts

Knowledge of:

  • Financial Statements, Marketing ROI
  • Customer Segmentation, Acquisition, and Growth
  • Consumer Insights & Data Analytics
  • Loyalty Program Development

Work-related skills:

  • Strong marketing strategist, able to translate ideas into successful implementation plans
  • Ability to build trust and influence a broad range of stakeholders – internal, external
  • Results-focused – Ability to deliver in a high-pressure environment
  • Agile and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
