Job purpose:

• Build the right and effective trade strategy to enable NPIs launching, core categories growth & sales performance improving through channel exploration & development, along with the development and deployment of Trade program within allocated budget, providing analysis on ROI/ efficiency align with CJs strategy

• Guiding the team in day-to-day operational tasks and ensuring excellence in execution of trade marketing plan.

Main responsibilities:

1)Build trade strategy to deliver BU brand target (50%):

• Based on local category vision and market insights to coordinate with marketing teams to build in yearly strategic plans delivering category growth engines.

• Translate the pricing strategy into a promo strategy (promotion role & objectives, volume in deal, depth of discount, promo frequency, … at brand and SKU level)

• Designs & develops with marketing teams the right category activations to win in stores. (POS material, trade mechanism,…)

• Define the must win criteria for a successful launch in stores in all targeted channels

2)Consensus with sales team to build sales building block (30%):

• Define clear guidelines for commercial drivers (Assortment, Shelving)

• Define recommended assortment & price pack architecture by channel / customer

3) Consensus with MA for trade budget within AP target (20%):

• Recommends and be accountable for the trade funds spending strategy & guidelines.

Co-own with brand team strategy & plans for best investment of in store A&P

• Key player of the demand review while proactively providing detailed understanding of Vol / Net Sales/ Spending by sales team and anticipation of risks & opportunities.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration / Marketing or related major.

Expertise Skills & Experience

• From 6 to 8 years of experience in sales (including customer & field successful experience).

• Deep market & channel understanding.

• Deep knowledge of channel dynamics, category management and in store commercial drivers.

• Clear understanding of markets, sales and distribution, competitor activity, consumer and shopper behavior, category management.

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and flow to work as needed

• Collaboration & communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal / external stakeholders and team working in a complex multi-functional environment

• Leadership skills, ability to make timely decisions and influence distribution partners

• Strategic analytical thinking, creative & innovative thinking, pro-active & can-do attitude

• Agility, ability to integrate change in a dynamic environment, be flexible & adapt to changing conditions and plans, ability to drive solutions that meet both brand requirements and local commercial realities

• Ability to inspire, lead and motivate team members, performance management, recruitment & training

• In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics, commercial environment, basic financial acumen

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel & Power point

• Fluent in English
